We strive to inspire children in their unique potential for learning EVERYDAY!The OpportunityAs the Education and Practice Leader, your role will be to lead and drive the implementation of the early years curriculum and exceeding educational practices, mentoring and guiding our team of Educators and Educational Leaders.  We require an inspirational, passionate and strong leader who can take the Centres on a professional journey that will ensure our curriculum helps us to deliver world class care, education practice and teaching philosophies that bring Petit’s values to life. A key objective of this role is providing a range of ongoing support, coaching, modelling and mentoring for practice improvement as well as assisting in building knowledge and understanding of the curriculum by our team of Educators.  This will be achieved through designing programs, regular assessments of the centres and training with Educational Leaders.The ideal candidate will have a passion for collaborating with educators and experience in developing and implementing curriculum within the Early Childhood sector.  They will show attributes that will prove they are capable of lifting an already great team in their knowledge and the quality of the teaching practices across the centres.Essential CriteriaHold a Bachelor or Master of Education (Early Childhood) as recognised by ACECQASignificant experience in the early years sector and as an Educational LeaderHave a strong understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Kindergarten / Preschool Guidelines for QLD, VIC and NSWDemonstrate current working knowledge of theories and approaches relevant to early childhood educationHave a clear understanding of the planning cycle, assessment for learning, and the implementation of an engaging program that meets the needs of individual childrenHave a strong understanding of the provision of a safe and engaging learning environmentHave a sound understanding of the Exceeding themes of practiceProven experience supporting, guiding and mentoring educators to deliver rich pedagogical practiceAn ability to design and facilitate learning opportunities for educators and early childhood leadersA true dedication to developing programs to enhance the future of childrenDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a teamInitiative and strong sense of personal responsibility for meeting objectivesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA current Blue CardFirst Aid Certificate (including Asthma & Anaphylactic Training) and CPR certificateAn ability to travel when requiredCompany Benefits:Attractive remuneration package including discounts on childcareA dedicated focus on your personal & professional development, including paid trainingAnnual complimentary flu shotsCareer advancement opportunities If you are ready for your next challenge please submit your application via 'Apply Now'If you would like further information on the role, please call our recruitment team on 1300 173 848.  AUD Brisbane 4000
