Championing quality practice and continuous improvement you will empower  leaders as well as have a strong sense for business and financial acumen.You will have demonstrated experience in collaborating with other specialist business managers to deliver strong operational direction that enables the delivery of excellent quality early childhood programs in accordance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, legislation, and regulations.About the RoleDay to day you will be responsible for the operational direction and management of a group of 6 centres across the Queensland and Northern NSW region which involves the ability to regularly travel overnight and interstate.  It also includes:Providing commercial leadership and direction for organisational effectivenessDeveloping strategic and business plans ensuring optimal business performance and outcomesLeading the effective, efficient, and economic delivery of coordinated services and programsMentoring a culture of continuous improvement by fostering a learning environment, encouraging innovation, and developing people and programsEnsuring continuous compliance with all relevant and applicable legislation, acts, and regulations at both a national and state levelContributing to and building a positive reputation for PETIT and actively networking with external bodies within the sector.Essential CriteriaSignificant experience in the early years sector and as a Regional or Area ManagerDiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) as recognised by ACECQAStrong knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Kindergarten / Preschool Guidelines for QLD, VIC and NSWSound understanding of the Exceeding themes of practiceExperience in the delivery of training and assessment of staffExperience in utilising childcare software -Qikkids and CCMSCurrent driver's licenceCurrent Blue Card or Working with Children CheckFirst Aid (including Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training) and CPR certificate Company BenefitsAn attractive salary package based on individual skills and experienceA generous vehicle and fuel allowanceA laptop and mobile phoneA dedicated focus on your ongoing personal and professional developmentA respectful work environment where you are valued for being a collaborative contributor AUD Brisbane
